Contact lenses
An exam and a fitting for contact lenses
Contact lenses need a fitting on top of an eye exam. The doctor checks that they fit and that your eyes are comfortable. Your contact lens prescription is yours: we give it to you when the fitting is done and you can fill it anywhere.

What happens at the fitting
Results vary from one person to another.

Questions about contact lenses
Can I wear contacts with my glasses prescription?
No. A contact lens prescription is different and is made at a fitting.
Can I sleep in my contact lenses?
It depends on the lens and your eyes. The doctor tells you at the fitting.
What if my eyes get irritated?
Take the lenses out and call us. If there is strong pain or loss of vision, go to the emergency room.
